Life Chronicles, discover the history of life! Experience the epic evolution of our planet starting February 19!

A 3.5 billion-year journey made possible by virtual reality in the Old Port of Montreal!
Embark on an immersive expedition exploring the mahor evolutionary stages of the planet since its origins, and the living organisms that inhabit it.
Equipped with a virtual reality headset, your adventure will begin billions of years back in time! Take a trip to the past to admire the landscapes and meet spectacular animals such as immense centipeds, marine reptiles and dinosaurs...

A fun and educational experience

For 45 minutes, marvel at the beauty and richness of life. From the depths of the ocean to the tropical forests, travel through the paleo-landscapes of the great geological perids and discover the first traces of live in the Archean era (-3.5 billion years ago), the emergence of diverse animal species in the Cambrian period (-520 million years ago), the great dinosaurs of the Cretaceous era (-67 million years ago) or the appearance of humans (between -100,000 and -60,000 years ago)…

Accompanied by a virtual guide, the young researcher Charlie and her little robot Darwin, you and your group will get up close to the various inhabitants of the Earth. Who will dare to approach the Tyrannosaurus?

A scientific story

With a special focus placed on accuracy, this immersive expedition is the result of a close collaboration between Excurio and the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (France). The Museum's paleontologists, paleobotanists, evolution specialists and bioacousticians all contributed to the project, from script writing to 3D production, as well as the creation of the graphics and sounds.

While Life Chronicles offers a dreamlike, sensitive, and sometimes humorous immersion into the living world, all the information presented has been subject to rigorous scientific research.
