The Old Port of Montréal

Situated between Old Montréal and the St. Lawrence River over a 2.5-kilometre stretch, the Old Port is a recreational and tourism attraction, and a must-see meeting place for Montréalers and tourists alike, more than six and a half million of whom come every year to enjoy its hundreds of events, attractions, restaurants and shops.

An important Canadian heritage site and part of the historic district of Old Montréal, the Old Port has always been an important gathering place and is at the heart of Montréal's development. Visitors can enjoy its historic character, riverside promenade and green spaces, and enjoy a memorable experience.

Opportunity Description

The Old Port of Montréal Corporation seeks to densify development on its piers through large-scale projects that complement the site's main attractions and contribute to the site's lasting vitality year-round. The development projects must help consolidate the Old Port's status as a key destination in Montréal, Québec and Canada for decades to come.

The Old Port is looking to explore development proposals likely to contribute to the implementation of this vision in these sectors of activity: sports and leisure, entertainment, education, and/or recreation and tourism attractions.

Expressing Interest

Interested business partners must have a proven track record in Montréal, Québec and/or Canada, close ties to the city's various markets, and be reputable in their industry.

Contact development@oldportofmontreal.com to express your interest in any projects that may fit in with the Old Port's vision, and provide all relevant documentation (brochure, portfolio, business plan, etc.).
