Assembly of First Nations: AFN National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak Meets with The Honourable Anita Neville, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba

(July 17, 2024 – Winnipeg, Manitoba) – Assembly of First Nations (AFN) National Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak will meet with The Honourable Anita Neville, Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba, on July 17, 2024, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The National Chief will discuss several First Nations priorities, including the urgent establishment of a First Nations-led Commission of Inquiry into the deaths of Morgan Harris, Marcedes Myran, Rebecca Contois, and Mashkode Bizhiki'ikwe.

The National Chief will be available for media interviews via Zoom or phone from 3:00 to 4:00 PM CT. Please send interview requests in advance to confirm scheduling.
